With a bit more accuracy - line-out, kick starts, we could beat their first team.

Excellent stuff (apart from Sops' tackling).

I didn't expect that at all.

300 odd appearances for Wasps for Gaskell and McIntyre, and they probably doubled their combined number of tries scored today!

One hell of a statement there.  Thoroughly enjoyable match to watch.  And a perfect example of making some of the odd decisions from the ref irrelevant.

Phenomenal performance.

I know people will say "not Exeter's starting team" but we were missing plenty of starters too.

I thought forwards were incredible, backs were great when we did click. Just out muscled them. It was very bizarre to see.

I'll add comments on players:
Sopoaga has some great running lines and creativity, but he's definitely a liability in defence.
Umaga took a while to get going but showed why he's still starting fly half.
Robson is our most important player this season.
We really need to re-sign JTA and Bassett (and Gaskell, if he's not re-signed already?).

A good game but we have to improve in some areas .

Sops isn't a 15.
Good effort at scrum
Need to improve the lineout

I think that Jack had a problem in his back and the change was precautionary at halftime. Fingers crossed

How many penalties did they concede? And how many did they get away with?
They need to change their name to Exeter Cheats.
And I bet there's red diesel in their coach!

Well done Wasps. Brilliant performance.

I liked the way the went for that 5th try rather then just ending the game - that was quite some statement.

Its a cliché about being work in progress, but we're certainly progressing.

Forwards were excellent.
Jacob’s line kicking was/is outstanding.
Bassett’s offload was fabulous.
Our bench was fantastic.
To score 5 tries against Exeter was unbelievable.
Just wait until we have a full squad available.

That was a serious performance by the boys. What a statement. A joy to watch. Really happy with that.

You can’t have it both ways Ben Kay and extol the virtues of the Chiefs squad then lament their absent players.

Big performance all round. Great win. Loads of individual stand outs but the overriding thing for me was attitude. We bossed them quite comprehensively. Defensively we were great and got more clinical as it went on. Mention for a few who don't get many mentions - thought Le Bourgeois, De Jongh and Tom Willis were all great. Starting to click in all departments and the squad is looking well rounded and together. Hardly anyone will do that to Chiefs.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The defensive shift the team put in was tremendous - pair that with our attacking nous and  the future really does look good.
