That's a cracking side considering who's missing

+1

+ 2

+3

And serious pace out wide, excellent replacement front rowers, and class back row. Great team all in all. And with three play makers at 10,12 and 15, we're going to make use of whatever ball we get.

Great relief to see Zak and Malakai are back, and starting too.  Just hoping that Josh is only being rested.  I would really really hate to lose  Josh.

BB reporting he's got a hamstring injury - 2 weeks out.

Josh Bassett's name was a shock admission from Wasps' 23-man squad to face Harlequins on Sunday.

The 28-year-old winger has played in EVERY minute of his club's eight games so far this season and was a tryscorer last time out against Bath.

But the 6ft 3in all wideman was missing from head coach Lee Blackett's squad as Matteo Minozzi and Zach Kibirige were selected as the wingers, with Rob Miller and Michael Le Bourgeois providing support for the backs on the bench.

CoventryLive has learned that the former Bedford Blues back has suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out for two weeks.

Like the look of that team a lot.  Launchbury and Robson the one we'll miss most this weekend.  Depth in front row and back row means that we are still strong in both areas.  Odogwu probably wouldn't have started anyway with Fekitoa back.  Fancy no 24 to go well from the bench!

Famous name on the Quins right wing.

And another plus one.

I also love the fact that they've put that young lad on the team sheet, a lovely touch from all concerned at the club.

There's something about the team announcement that raises the excitement a notch and this time after the break its even more so.

Looking forward to seeing how Will Porter fares against Danny Care and Smith v Umaga could be tasty as well.

As other have said, great team, and all things considered that's a side that could go up against any Premier club with confidence. Shows good strength in depth.

I’ve heard Wasps 24 - Goodwin - is one to look out for.

Kibirige’s pace, Wade’s step, Fekitoa’s tackling ability, Robson’s pass, Gopperths kicking skills, Willis’s jackling prowess and Masi’s looks.

Go well Alexander.

It's a relief Josh is injured (if that makes sense)?? A few surprises. I do feel for DeJongh. If he's fit it's a shame for him. Our number 24 could be the difference.

A couple of more injury news from BB: Marcus Watson, who made his first appearance since September last time out against Bath, has suffered a recurrence of a niggling Achilles injury while Juan de Jongh has a hamstring issue that ruled him out of contention.

Would definitely have picked Paulo, probably at 13 and given Malakai a short run off the bench. I think Malaki has come straight into the team through necessity rather than choice with Paulo away and JdJ having a hamstring injury. Booj is also just coming back from injury. Even if Malakai was 100% ready, I don't think Lee would have dropped Paulo. When you're on a run of form that hot, you try to keep it going. Ironically I think his England call might do more harm than good as the chances are he won't play for ages now. Will he be able to pick up where he left off in Wasps' super-competitive back 3? If not, when will he next get a chance? Could be a long time, maybe the whole season.

I would have expected Odogwu to have started on the wing, with Bassett out, but we'll never know now.

Would love to see a Fekitoa - Odogwu 13 & 14 combo....

Great to have Malakai and Zach back! Am a bit nervous about this one though. Surprised not to see Atkinson on the bench, and JTA over Brookes

A lot more versatility with Booj/Miller. And with Jimmy & Lima both on the pitch no shortage of cover for 10.

Wonder who will take the shots? Would stick with Lima personally.
