Spoiler alert Brizz v Sale

Really enjoyed that game. Felt like two teams we may be tangling with in the tail end of the season. Sale absolutely sure suffocated the Bears, their intensity and defence was outstanding. Amongst all the Saffers what brilliant players the James brothers are - very intelligent players.

The Saffas who played for Quins last week were not bad either.

Makes you wonder how you get a sniff with England. They are always in my "not near England XV"

Obviously Bristol missed Radrandra individually but what his absence meant for the team, with Siale at 12 and O'Connor at 13, was that the backs couldn't line up as wide which then played right into Sales suffocating defence as they couldn't get wide enough to go round it forcing them back in to where Bears forwards had to commit again to breakdowns rather than being the links to the wide backs in the next phase, imho!

The comment about ensuring kicks (from Sale) went to the receivers wrong side for kicking back showed detail they went into in analysing Bristol as well. Losing Luatua before the start didn’t help Bristol either, lwould be similar to us losing Launchbury in the warm up.
