There is an irony to this after the French government cast doubt on this year's 6N before it had even started, citing concerns over travel to the UK specifically. France have been to Rome and Dublin, and despite strict rules about squad bubbles etc, now appear to have a significant outbreak on their hands.

I've seen no mention of how this might impact the Ireland players. Presumably some may be required to isolate if in close contact with Dupont. Mind you, very few players ever get close to Dupont anyway, so maybe they're in the clear.

Don’t forget they were also the reason behind the suspension of the Heineken Champions Cup last month.
