Wonder if we will go all out for this ,considering position in league and no relegation.

Draw couldn't have been much worse from the available options.

However, Clermont can be a bit flaky away so we should give it a go in that game

Cracking draw. How many will we have fit and available by then? Joe, Alfie, Dan, Paolo, Kieran hopefully.

So potential team?

West, Oghre, Brookes,
Launchbury, Rowlands,
Shields, Young, Willis T,
Robson, Umaga,
Bassett, Gopperth, Fekitoa, Odogwu,  Miller

On paper that side is pretty good. Obviously debates around Kibirige, Cruse etc.

I thought that the draw was dependent on your standing in the two tables that were used in the pool stages? The other criteria being to avoid teams from the same leagues playing each other. How do Chiefs get a home draw against Lyon? Lyon were top of Pool 2 with double the points of Exeter who were 7th?

Do they get a home draw as a result of being defending champions or something?

It was an open draw in the end due to points awarded for Covid cancellations distorting any seedings based on pool position.  Wasps were among a small number of teams that had 2 actual wins from 2 games played (rather than wins awarded by default) and were therefore guaranteed a home draw.  Everyone else was just chucked in the pot and pulled out at random.

Tough draw, glad it's not away as that would have really annoyed me as Clermont is on my stadiums to do list.

Same! Will have to wait for another year.
But I do love watching them play. Haven’t they been on fire recently?

Fixture details due to be announced at 3.00pm, which is surprising as I thought EPCR need a minimum 2 months to produce fixture lists...
