Tom Hardwick is still available isn’t he?
Although rumoured to be off to Bristol this kid has all the talent and will be a class act eventually, think he’d be a fantastic long term prospect at 12 but think he potentially wants to play 10.
Didn’t get on much with Borthwick by all accounts but obviously his dad has Cov links and we also have his younger brother already signed up in the academy and he is tipped for big things too

If we have to select a 12 that is non ideal, then I would go with a ten-, which means Jacob or Charlie- rather than having two 13s on the pitch. That said none of us knew that Paulo would be so good at 13, so we do not know who could adapt.

Hardwick's brother is in our academy. Though both have a lot of baggage apparently.

Miller won't play 12. Our issue is we need more of a Giteau (if only!) type 12 than a Nonu type for our style of play - though a botcher wouldn't go amiss. Having that second distributor and kicker is important for us, but maybe we need to change tack a bit. Put it this way, Malakai won't kick much from 12! But having him and Paolo in the centres, with Jimmy at 10, would give us some serious power.

Well we do have a bosher with aspirations to play 12 in Barbeary!! Not sure he'd kick much either! I can't see Minozzi cutting the mustard there.
