So time for Saints
« on: October 26, 2017, 08:13:33 AM »
No Hughes makes it tougher, but Thompson can come in at 8, a bit less power carrying, a bit more workrate including the breakdown.

Saints have a real power game, similar to exeter, but a little less safe in terms of ball handling I feel.  We need the same aggressive defence, and force them into kicking or making a mistake.

We really didn't have all that many phases against Quins, so it was tough to tell if our regular phase play had improved, but we did seem to be going for forward power a bit more, and playing off of Robson.

Unfortunately I don't see us winning this one at the gardens, but would like to see a bonus point or two.

I think if you asked a Saints fan whether they would win it, they too would be nervous. This one will come down to the day as to which team comes out as a team. Far too hard to call.
