Remind me, why did Wasps want the game moved?

To have fans attend. The next weekend is a free (Euro Cup) weekend so it made sense. Other teams have apparently agreed to move so fans of both teams can be welcomed back.
Wasps will only have one home game with fans now.

I can see why they would say NO. Not many Wuss fans would come (or there might not be many tickets for them), and allowing Wasps to have fans to cheer them on would give them a Home advantage. Self interest trumps good sportsmanship.

But other clubs managed to see that sportsmanship was the better option. It's the world we live in.

See that Worcester have said it was already a scheduled week off for their players. But as it would be a non playing weekend following does seem a tad churlish, unless they’ve all got holiday accommodation booked!

All off overseas to an Indian beach resort? Or a week in Bognor? Or a week in the local park playing with their kids? Other teams in the same situation have miraculously found themselves able to do it.

Bet if BT said they wanted to televise it on the Wednesday PRL would rind a way...

If it was at Oneways they would of played it.
Worcester are now in my bag of hate with Saracens.

Given the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport is my MP, I've written to him to ask that he considers making this match a crowd trial event.

Worth a try!

Senseless. Don't but Worcester's justification one bit. Just being obtuse.

Their decision means Wasps miss out on significant revenue in these cash strapped times.

Hope they don’t expect Derek or Wasps to do them a favour any time soon.

Shocking.

You would think a good overarching control organisation could instruct teams to move games but then we have the impotent PRL. BT ok'ed the possible change dates.

While i, like most of you, would have loved to see a live game and it would have been easy for me to do do living in Coventry, it might be controversial to say but I just wonder how successful and revenue generating a Monday night game would actually be?
