Have Simmonds and Spink managed a few weeks without another knock this season - worrying how often the youngsters have these niggles

Big Leicester side there so hope we can run them around

Possibly an indication they won't make it at Prem level.

Always a worry.

In every sport there's loads of young players whose bodies just couldn't handle being a pro athlete.

Having the skills is one thing, having a game brain is also required to make it to the top, but the final key factor is not usually teachable or learnable. If the body can't handle it, then there's not much that can be done.


Given the physical attributes typically required for rugby, I wonder if it puts even more strain on a young body than some other sports.
That being said, the rigours of top level football these days often mean that elite players are pushing their bodies to the limit every day too.... Just in a very different way
