If Brookes and Willis don't make it I'm assuming we go to JTA/Alo and Vailanu at 8. Or Shields 8 and Morris to 6. Shields and Young are playing a hell of a lot of games - still, I suppose they get a rest after this week.

I'd definitely start Morris, and we might even see Alfie on the bench. Though the plastic pitch might be viewed as a risk.

Oh yes, of course. Strengthens the likelihood of Alfie playing then. I think he's being "managed" more than actively being excluded from selection due to injury - at least that's how I've read the reporting. So we could well see him if Tom needs longer to get through the return to play protocols.
