Didn’t Hughes do one of our matches recently and try to talk the ref out of giving us a try or something similar? I desire I remember he liked the sound of his own voice and taking over the match.

He tried to talk Carley out of sending Ollie Thorley off. He also didn't check for the gouge on Josh as he suddenly forgot he can refer incidents to the Ref as well as be referred incidents.

I remember Maybank ruining games when we played at Loftus Road. It'll be a miracle if he gets his shirt and shorts on the right way round.

Maybank is 57. Last refereed us in November 2008, but has continued as an Assistant Referee since then.
