pretty awful stuff by the sounds of it. Worry is what the term "substantial" is in reference to.

...or indeed whilst fooling around with petrol according to an interview de Allende himself gave to Super Sport in SA.  Fortunately no-one was seriously hurt and injuries to de Allende and Snyman were not as bad as initially feared.  Lucky lads.
