Saints lauching an Away strip with STH names. Wonder where they got that idea from.

Wasps missed a trick as Saints version will get worn far more often - unless...

Don't think Wasps missed a trick at all. They released an additional shirt, likely after most major shirt sales are done, and probably sold a ton of them, at the very least to a highly motivated buyer group. More than that, they did it at a time when revenue was tight.

That shirt was absolute marketing genius, as well as being a really nice touch. A normal away shirt now is just likely to be part of a supporters regular shirt purchase (if you see what I mean).

I am pretty sure this had been done before Wasps did it, can't remember where, maybe football?

Tranmere did it as far back as maybe 2002? Quite a few clubs, here and abroad, have done it.

When the kid raced at National Rowing regattas a few years ago the shop on site, they had t shirts with every competitor name and club on it - a must have for teenagers, especially first timers.

Seen many school leaver sweat shirts similarly adorned each school year
