A few deserving contenders for this award, but it has to be Shields for me.

The step up & performance as Captain and the absolute commitment he gave to every single game, makes him one of the few bright spots of this season. He thoroughly deserves the recognition.

Thank you. Duly done. After seeing him struggling and refusing to leave the field with a ?dead leg on Saturday that (for me) decided  it .... Brad.  It wasn't easy all.

After a lot of consideration, I voted for Tom West. I was so sorry he got injured. I think he would have made Dan Cole's life a misery in the Tigers' game.

Close run thing for me.

It could have been Rowlands or Shields but I like to go for the underdog. I thought Tom Willis came of age in his first full season and was outstanding.

Horus makes a good argument for Shields but, for me, there are so many others to choose from.
Brookes has been v good, likewise Tom Willis, Dan Robson. A mention too for Gaskell who must have played more minutes than most, Thomas Young, Tom Cruse and of course Josh Bassett.
JTA too for his enthusiasm and obvious enjoyment of the game. Too many penalties given away leaves Will Rowlands off my list.
But I'm going to give it to Tom West who, for me, has been quietly efficient and very effective.
