I know we all love a bit of Eddie bashing, but I feel Joe is correct.
When you're in the England camp, you get to see other elite players up close, see how they train, ask questions, check their technique, see the effort they put in etc.
That being said, it'll be easy to look back at any success we have in the next 12 months and say it was because we had so many players involved with England, but I feel it's important to remember that these players have earned their callups by playing so well and are already improving.
While being involved with England may add some value, the players themselves deserve the credit for continually pushing themselves, improving and being recognised by the national team
