Chuffed for the Club and the Squad.

Be nice for them to be somewhere they're proud of and where they can be well looked after.  The rustic changing facilities of old might have had some Stockholm-syndrome like charm, but can't imagine any of them are missing being away from Acton or Broadgate!

Just incredible, this has been such a long time coming and I’m so happy for the guys at the club - especially for guys like Robson who’s probably had better offers elsewhere with better facilities, For guys like Launchbury who have been around since before the move and for all new signings and academy lads coming up - what a place to be.

Not quite what was promised at the pre-move meetings but fairly spectacular. Should do away with any future complaints about facilities.

Not unlike my converted garage. 😀

Looking at the pics the main structural change from what was there before seems to be a floor has been inserted into the old sports hall to create the gym below and rooms above.

No need given the artificial pitch.

Granted but it was part of the plans shown to supporters at Marlow pre-move - to ensure kicking practice could continue in all weathers. What we have is superb though.

Absolutely stonking!!  The squad and  support staff deserve all this and more (?swimming pool?)  esp. after some of the ones they've had.  Home at last.

Ah, it's interesting that was part of the original plans.  I guess it was a compromise that had to be made for planning.  I can pretty much guarantee that if it was allowed, and the club thought it would help then we'd have one.  They have spared no expense at all in this place.

My guess is that it was more a case of what can we reasonably expect to get through planning and get done quickly, and what needs to come after? I always imagine a kicking barn that was long but narrow, where you could have posts on a turntable to alter the angle of kick, where the balls come back along a bowling alley type of idea of mechanism. I remember hours and hours on the pitches in summer, alone kicking a bag of balls, then collecting them all up, carting them to a new kicking point, and starting again. 90% of my time was fetching and bringing the balls back in the big net bag.

So, a pool and kicking barn must be on the longer term plans.

Some additional video footage on Twitter. As you enter, and to the left of the car park, was a scrub area, now a CBS Arena sized grass pitch, and the artificial surface area next to that replaced with a new pitch:

The pitch to the North, and the pitch to the North West of the buildings are still being worked on.

The pitches look gorgeous, bowling green quality.
