Wasps Shirts Sizing Info
« on: December 29, 2017, 10:03:19 AM »
One of the things I have noticed is that tops can vary considerably in actual size regardless of what size they claim to be, so I thought a thread offering some information on sizing might be helpful for people looking to buy their own.

I bought a "L" replica playing shirt for this season (the all black one with the old style wasp on it) from Sports Direct, and it fits me perfectly.  I have a 47 inch chest and usually wear an "XL" in t-shirts.

I also purchased a Large from Sports Direct (and felt a bit dirty lining the pockets of Mike Ashley). I'm a 40 inch chest and I think it's a perfect fit. Not sure what size my belly is though!

I bought the official 150th supporters replica from the Wasps shop in small and is a perfect fit for my 37" chest.

Tried the large match day and the large training top. Bought one size larger for training top and one size smaller for match day. Not sure about chest but stomach is no longer that much larger.

This hasn't helped much.
A large fits a 40" inch chest and a 47" inch chest.

I've got a 150 black and gold XXXL hooped Polo shirt with the crescent logo.
I've got a 50" inch chest and orangutan arms, but the arms are still slightly long on the shirt... Chest fitment is good though

I was a little surprised too by the fact that the same size fits both 40 and 47. I guess we like a different fit? Or the sizing is massively variable.

Mines not snug. I do like a looser fit though.

I would guess I'm around a 42 inch chest, and my medium is snug.  The large was fine (not loose) around the chest, but the arms were weirdly long, hence opting for the smaller size.  Would definitely say it's down to individual preference, and definitely a shirt that needs to be tried on before purchase!
