I thought there something about not quit getting 10k in to AP and just checked on Wiki:

   Capacity 10,137 (9,448 approx. licensed capacity)

Did they update it for rugby?

It was updated, possibly not just for rugby, and I think we got to it a couple of times

At least the stadium doesn't look as empty as the Mad Stad tended too, despite it being the larger ground
