Will be sorry to lose him but it was inevitable. Highest honour to play for one's country.

YY will be a big loss and difficult to replace. Shame if it happens.

Not a real surprise but a shame for Wasps - both short term (ie now) and long term. We have quality cover if everyone stays fit.

This still seems rather abrupt, I thought Wales had too much depth for YY to be given an opportunity. What changed?

I'm obviously happy for him in the same way I'm happy for Rowlands, just difficult for obvious reasons and somewhat strange given he's not been on Wales radar for years.

Confirmed

Although we have plenty of quality in the back row, this is a real blow. I appreciate why he wants to move but Wales are well stocked in the back row (with experience & young talent).

Thank you Thomas & best of luck.

Whilst it’s a blow to lose a player of his quality it’s probably the one position we can cover without a drop off providing we can keep everyone fit. Plus he’s shown great loyalty to wasps so good luck to him.

Crikey that was quick. I too wish him luck, absolutely one of the best flankers in the prem.

I actually think this is very detrimental to our depth. I'd argue he's the next best Jackal after Jack... Not sure we have any others. Wonder if we'll sign anyone big as a replacement or put confidence into Curran.

It hurts but he's been a loyal servant and guided us through some troubling times. Interesting to know whether it means we step up the hunt for new flanker or whether we shift Fifita back to 6 and lean on Curran and other academy players.

Would free up serious cash for locks with our injury prone locks.

This is a huge loss for next season which I don't think should be underestimated. He's a special player.

His relationship with Dan Robson is telepathic. Big loss.
