Nicely summed up by the commentry team. Again controversy involving France. Do they forget that lots of people are watching, it is very poor sportsmenship and brings the game into disrepute. Glad it didn't change the result in the end.

Independent doctors though.  The first one I can understand, since the 10s head had clashed with Aki's thigh/hip.  Fair enough, even with a clear injury elsewhere.

The one involving the nine at the death, I'd love to see the footage where the independent doctor saw the need for the HIA (is he independent like the production company when it comes to requiring a replay of gouging?).

It definitely needs to be investigated. How independent is the independent match doctor?

Can't have a system set up to protect players welfare being gamed for tactical advantage.
