I mean the bad luck is ridiculous but has anyone heard if we train any differently to the rest of the Prem teams? I'm just trying to figure out how on earth we have 20 players out.

When figures were banded about re contact training, other training times etc , don’t think we were much different to any other

Someone has a doll in a Wasp shirt that they are sticking pins into. Is this the worst it has been for us?

Its a vicious circle, the more players are injured, the greater pressure on the remaining players who then get pushed harder & get injured themselves.
It was brave move to try and break the cycle & give some key players a week off, recover from some niggles etc.

lets hope it pays off next week

Re Dan Robson, if he has been playing with a recurring groin problem all season & still been playing at the level he has... wow, what will he do when he's fit?

Lots of people moaning about injuries and the S&C team on Facebook but this has to just be bad luck - afterall we have an entirely news S&C team from the last time we had a massive injury crisis and we were all cursing their work!

Launchbury, Willis, Odogwu, Vukasinovic, Simonds, Spink, Fekitoa, Morris, Frost, Atkinson and Gaskell have all picked up serious injuries in game - No S&C team in the land could have prevented these despite disagreement on Facebook.
Did Mills pick up his injury in a game originally, was a long time ago. It could possibly only be Miller, Barbeary and potentially Harris that have picked injuries up in training (unless I’m missing anyone)

Barbeary, Spink and Simonds have been detailed as being on a very careful plan to get them through all of these injuries they keep picking up after 2 or 3 games - maybe this isn’t working yet  but the club are clearly working with purpose here.
Other players like Carr, JTA, Umaga, Tom Willis, Shields, Cruse, Harris (before this week) Robson and Bassett are rarely injured at all and are all training the same way as everyone else - just need some luck in my opinion

Spot on.
The more experienced players take on more responsibility, apply even more effort and commitment - and then leave themselves exposed to injuries and niggles themselves.
This week...or further down the line.

It's a tough cycle to break out of....but completely the right move by the coaches.
And I'm really worried about the match v Bath this weekend.
In a perfect world, you'd concede the game, take stock, save the players, save the season.

We have some injuries but we’re absolutely miles away from conceding games. The Sarries decision was correct but that it not our available squad. For the Bath game we will be strong enough to win - as we were versus Bristol and Northampton.

I've not seen the Sarries game, but it can't be viewed as our level with all the changes. I think it's not unreasonable to view Saints/Exeter games as a base level we can reasonably expect, and that's impressive considering those games have a lot of missing players too.

I can't agree with that, Bath is a game we have to go out and win. I know nothing's guaranteed but if we don't win the games against those around and below us the mental state of the players could be an issue, losing is a habit. Its one thing dismissing the Sarries and Chief's games as down to injuries but Bath are all over the place and its a great opportunity to give the whole club a lift with a win. For me the best available side has to play next week, no resting.

I have been watching Bath this season.  If we don’t beat them handsomely I will be astonished.

Bath is absolutely a game we should win, they should be a team we're targeting to beat home and away.

I’m not saying that the points against Bath aren’t there for the taking, or indeed would lift spirits with a win.

But, knowing how much the players have already stretched themselves (because of injuries to other key players) I’ll be watching this game from behind the sofa.

I’m really worried about further injuries to key players.
I’m sure some are already playing through niggles just to keep the ship afloat.
I just hope they don’t succumb to anything more.

Of course, in reality, we’re going to play the game.
But ideally, the whole squad could do with a full week’s rest and recuperation to reverse our injury situation.
