Gray will be the 12th player from the 2011 Junior World Rugby Championship Final to play for Wasps: http://en.espn.co.uk/scrum/rugby/match/141198.html

Wonder if he can play 13 - big bloke just give him the ball!

Tommy Matthews is a clever signing and surprised no one else higher up than Hartpury picked him up after Saints let him go.
Probably not room for him in the long term to get enough gametime alongside Jacob and Charlie but a very decent signing as we are skating on thin ice with just Jacob and Jimmy around at the moment and Jimmy also needed in the centres.

Welcome both and good luck trying to secure longer deals

What great line ups both those squads had - shows the player pathways are stony from age grade to senior level, especially in NZ!

He could be astute especially if he can adapt to the centre/fly half role and can potentially replace Gopps/Mills if they both retire/don't recover from injury.

Good luck to both. Centre was always likely to be an issue. We knew we'd be without Odogwu for a while and Fekitoa and Spink are frequently out. It sounds to me like Gray is a possibility for a longer deal.

Matthews could easily be retained as a third choice 10. Gopps won't go much longer and is primarily a 12 for us, Miller is a bit ropey as a backup to that, and who knows when Mills will actually play again
