TBF, CMK is getting better with age. I have watched a few recent games with him in charge, and he seems to be seeing more (probably better positioning) and making more measured decisions. Christophe is good, yes. As is Sara Cox.

Part of the problem with judging referees is we’re emotionally invested when it’s our team, which is I prefer to judge them when I’m watching as a 3rd party.

Where is Luke Pearce this season?

Luke Pearce was down in the SH reffing the Rugby Championship but so was Carley and he’s back in the prem now. Maybe Pearce is taking a break until the international weekends - must be a long season for the top refs too especially if they do internationals, never really considered that.

Yep, the number of times that I have felt Wasps were hard done by at a game and then watched the video and seen what the ref has seen. That's partly why I wish the ref at least called ruck, like with a maul and then there is no grey area.

She's had one game, got universally good reviews then she's disappeared again. Get her reffing week in week out, from what I've seen she's a very good ref, as are some of the other female refs in the Championship & the women's game.

Probably down to money and games contracted to officiate at
