Yellow card for Bath, down to 13. We've been here before :(

Bath are truly awful in defence, look so easy to score against.
Porter looking sharp off quick ball

Fifita looked like a knee injury, fairly innocuous but didn’t look good.

Bath truly are poor. Apart from last week that’s probably the worst I’ve seen us play but still too much for Bath, I’d say we left an awful lot of points out on the pitch lots of visits to the red zone with not a lot to show for them. Good win but at a cost with senior players again getting injured

Great result against a team that were definitely there for the taking.

How many costly injuries have we accumulated today though. Robson and Fifita looked like they will be out for a while and Jimmy will have to go through the return to play protocols.

Hopefully no more injuries in the front row and congrats to Nearchou for making his debut!

We are gonna look poor when an increasing number of players have only met the week before

I don't know if anyone noticed but Bath made a bad error trying to play quickly. Will Porter cleared directly into touch, so the lineout would've been Bath's on the Wasps 22.
But the hosts went quickly from just outside their own 22 and Bayliss got a yellow from our counter.

I thought that had happened but I didn’t hear Tempo say anything when the ball was in flight.

Phew. I’ll always take a win at the Rec. Our defence is much much better this season. If we’d been a bit more clinical it could have been a thrashing.

I noticed it at the time, it was a stupid phase play just beforehand as he was inside the 22, they then went another phase to take him outside. He did it earlier in the 1st half as well.

I did hear Tempest explaining it to someone a couple of phases later.

Definitely feel a try bonus went begging today. Robson and Fifita both hobbling at the end, but no sign of protective boots or anything, so hopefully nothing too long term. Jimmy up and about chatting happily.
Quins next week is unlikely to be pretty, but after that a well earned 2 week rest for everyone and a bunch of teenagers and loanees in the Prem Cup. Then hopefully a few fit bodies back after that.

Have just watched the red card incident. Not sure what was worse, the "clear out" or the Bath Captain trying to argue against the decision. Did himself no favours and I wouldn't be against further action against him.

One thing I spotted as Wasps were getting the ball out wide when Tempest stopped play was Josh Bayliss going very high at Vaea. Had Vaea not seen him coming and ducked out the way, I'm not sure Tempest would have been able to avoid giving two red cards.
