Glaws v brizz
« on: December 03, 2021, 08:08:57 PM »
Has this happened before?
Afoa is part of playing squad and then joins into the pre match talking heads with Bayfs, Monye and Kay??
Then camera goes to Skivs and Pat Lam who are on the pitch having a pre match chat??

World is changing……

Not the most pleasing game on the eye, if Have I Got News For You was on at it's usual time of 9pm I'd no doubt be switching channels after 60 minutes.

Maybe it’s just me , but a player gets warned for being offside(Ludlum ), goes back , then gets penalised for being offside  immediately in next movement. Why not Yellow?

Agree Vellacott is having a good start to his time at Edinburgh. Probably could do with some of that now but our SHs will find their rhythm with Dobby out.

Glaws are definitely building but they were there for the taking last week. Our centre pairing experiment failed and it was almost embarrassing seeing 12t go in from about 40 -
Not sure I can recall him making breaks like that over the last 2 or 3 years.
Good to see the old wasps boys on the management at Glaws turning things around

12T has been v consistent in recent times and a gift to any coaching team - seemed to keep fit too. A bit of a Glaws Alex Goode - able to cover many shirts. He'd fit with us quite well.....but no chance!

I keep an eye on Glaws - they are the local team that I "follow" via their weekly news letter, all because they are under "Old Wasp" management. (And that I really can't stand Bath and am neutral on Briz!)

Gloucester are very strong in the centres - especially Harris. With him and Atkinson to rotate with 12T they are strong there. Also, their Russian prop looked beastly.
