Not needed for Sunday then but will be for Boxing Day. Presumably the club will have to keep us up to date with ticket sales!

Surely based on capacity

Far too logical for this government...

If they are short staffed for bars / food service what chance they can find extra staff to check covid passes, might need to start queueing now for boxing day.

Crikey - hope they don’t get the bar staff from the Anecdote to do it. No-one will get in for next year’s Christmas Cracker.

It's OK, Derek is a close personal friend of the PM, so we can all do whatever the hell we want!

WRU set a very good example of Covid security when I went to the Wales v Aus match.
Individual tickets for each individual on mobiles along with Covid passport. Two lines of access - first to check Covid - and they did. 50 meters on check on tickets. We were asked to get to our seats 2 hours before KO - made it 15 minutes late. The reward was no queues for drinks. Everyone left at the same time but there are so many stairs, escalators and exits with no rush to leave that it all felt comfortable.
And that was for a crowd of over 60K.

From tomorrow's Game Guide -

Please note - guidelines for attending matches are changing as from Wednesday 15 December meaning supporters will need to show their COVID status, i.e. double vaccinated, natural immunity or negative lateral flow within 48 hours of the match, using the NHS Covid Pass. Updates will be provided in due course. To download the NHS app, please visit www.nhs.uk/nhs-app

And???????? Tomorrow is the 12th so not in the slightest bit relevant for tomorrows match guide. Just creates confusion. A very relevant reminder for the 26th.

And???? The club have issued it. Advice looking forward for those who visit the CBSA. Don't see the confusion element.

Report in tomorrow's Mail suggesting clubs may reduce their capacity below 10k to avoid the expensive need to employ more staff for the required checks. Restrict it by ticket sale reduction.

Possibly too late with advanced ticket sales for boxing day games?
