It's surely a tough ask for piutau to stay in the premiership

I believe he's rumoured to be on £1m per year.
He's presumably one of the marquee players at Bristol.

If he moves anywhere else in the prem, he can't be a marquee and his full salary will be within the cap.
Even if he took a 25% pay cut, it'd be very difficult for any team to fit an extra £750k into their cap without some serious compromises.

Piutau signing for Saracens in 3....2.....1...

Replacement for the current one.

The current one - John Dalziel - thinks he 's doing OK!!! I had rather an interesting Twitter exchange with him. Told him to attend a match where Pete is on the PA and learn!

Was talking to someone on the Wembly PA team, and when I mentioned Wasps had dropped Pete Nuttall ahe was amazed. According to her "but everyone in the business acknowledges that Pete is one of the very best stadium announcers in the business"

Fair play to you, I don't think I could narrow it down to 3, even 5 would be a struggle.

Congratulations Iceni.   My 3 would quickly become 6 or 7.

Oh at least.  How do you leave Lewsey out? George Smith, Andrea Masi? Craig Dowd? Alex King? The list goes on...

Far too many to mention. Mark Taylor? Fraser Waters? Joe Launchbury?

Let's be honest, virtually everyone who played from 2002 to 2007 will be close to most people's lists.

Personal faves of that era include Paul Volley, the original TV, and as mentioned above big Trev.

Following that golden era, I'll always bang the Marco Wentzel drum.

Confirmed as Johhny Hill.

Salary cap???? What salary cap!

Du Preez the giant 6ft10 lock is already confirmed as off to Glasgow and De Jäger will be off too and he would surely be on more than they’ve captured Hill for.

Just not sure of the logic of signing English internationals with them missing so much of the season, great producing your own but Hill might only end up playing 10 games a season for Sale.

From today's Telegraph:
"Alex Sanderson has accused "third party agencies" of trying to "destabilise" Sale Sharks by falsely speculating several players are on the verge of leaving the Premiership side.

Rumours suggesting Daniel, Jean-Luc and Robert du Preez are all heading for the exit door at Sale have been dismissed by the director of rugby, who also branded agents "selfish" amid their ongoing standoff with Premiership clubs over fees.

Sanderson insisted the du Preez siblings - identical twins Jean-Luc and Daniel, and older brother Robert - have all committed to staying in the north west."

So, the usual pre-January public battles with the agents in full swing I see.
