Wow.

Just... Wow.

And amongst all of the great performances a special mention for our no 10. He's played one hell of a game.

Leicester and Tolouse, who'd have thought 2 wins -amazing. Hats off to all the boys but calls to our new Argentinian Prop,  Biyi, Alfi B, Brad , Tim C just immense. So proud, so pleased and knackered

What a result, Shields was immense again and how good were Gaskell and Cardall coming in after Stooke and Fifita have been class all season.

Really feel we look more settled with Atkinson at 10 as he can do it all (bet he wishes he passed to Crossdale though)
Think we could see Mills and Odogwu in the centres next time, Jimmy was again good but deserves a break and with Umaga probably out for at least 5 weeks now Jimmy has to be looked after as 10 cover again.

Martinez put in a great shift as did Alo and even though Scholtz got pinged at one scrum that went backwards quickly, he looked solid there and put himself about.
9s both good again and Barbeary was class, probably due a break too though

Just back hoime to see the result.

Sounds like the boys really dug deep again.

Think Jacob will be missing for a few weeks now, should put-in a lot of "how to tackle" practice.

Looking forward to watching the match this evening (not worried about spoilers though  :) )

I suspect Barbeary won't consider being rested.

Alo was terrific, and what a shift from Martinez.

Playing with 14 - they made it look effortless. Maybe we are getting too much practice at it.

Jacobs tackle - BT Sports commentary team differ in opinion to Channel 4 commentary team.

BT believe there was some mitigation…including Lol.

I’m not so sure.
It’s not that Jacob intentionally did anything wrong.
It’s simply that the tackle happened upon him quicker than he was expecting…and he was in a horrible shape to tackle.
I feel sorry for the guy. It’s a tackle he doesn’t normally have to make when playing 10.

But yes, he needs to see the next few weeks as an opportunity to really improve his tackle technique.
I feel for the guy.

Pretty sure the one week he got off is now added back, and I cannot see him getting less than four weeks, maybe 5 this time. Especially as he hasn't learned a thing (based on what I saw). Best thing TBH, as he could have done some serious damage there. Do not want players who are not safe in the tackle on the pitch. Could see him out until March. If I was Lee, I would make him do tackling every day of that period, all the time. He needs to learn.

That’s a bit sanctimonious.
Strange post.

Had to look 'sanctimonious' up in the dictionary; 'making a show of being morally superior to other people'

Errr, eghh? How was what I said suggesting I was morally superior to others? I am pretty sure that, on the bell curve of morality (bad to average to good), I would be down near the bottom. Or are you suggesting that my tackling, when I was playing, was worse than Jacob's? I started at 6, got faster and moved to 12. I never once made a high hit in just under 10 years of playing.

I said it after last week, but again this week, against the reigning HC and French chamipons, 'the all for one one for all' spirit and the 'dog' (not Paolo!) was there for all to see.
The lads fear no-one now. The second half of the season is brewing up nicely for us.

Brilliant performance lads. Enjoy your beers tonight.

If the last two performances do not put bums on seats, nothing will.

Presumably this is driven by John Mitchell. Any chance that he will stay?

Firstly great team effort, we definitely got a good team ethos.

Biyi Alo was brilliant, what an improvement from him.

Jacob was a yellow, I saw enough mitigation for it to be a yellow. Jacob’s knees are so bent. The Toulouse player hits Jacob in the head not the other way round. How does Jacob get his head out of the way. I hope we challenge the ref card
