He could find it difficult to get back in the first 15. Charlie played on Saturday and if he carries on like that, Jacob could struggle. Also Ali Crossdale has done well at full back

I know it's been said before but the disciplinary system makes little sense.

Jacob gets a 4 week ban for accidental head contact in a tackle.

Agustin Creevy gets 3 weeks for a headbutt (a deliberate act)

Mad that Jacob gets a 4-week ban and had to sit the second half out and Jelonch only gets 10 mins in the bin.

I agree, consistent lack of consistency. Red cards and subsequent bans are becoming more and more of a lottery.

Wasps explain why they didn't contest the red:

And agree that 4 weeks was fortunately at the very low of what they expected.

Considering Jacob had literally just come off a ban for a high tackle, and completed a tackle training course which reduced his ban, I was expecting 5-6 weeks, 4 surprises me.

Agreed. The severity of the ban will factor in the fact that he’s been sent off in his previous game. It does really make a mockery of this “attend a course” stuff. The fact is if he can’t get tackle technique right by now or doesn’t understand the laws as they are a 1 day course on either is a total waste of time.

Despite everything, I still think on another day, with a different ref, it would only have been a yellow.

It is what it is. The club and the player are moving on and both recognise, as highlighted by Matty Everard, that they have some work to do on Jacob's tackling technique.
