The length and apparent nature of the treatment he got did make me fear that it may have been a potentially serious neck injury.  The fact that it has been confirmed as a head rather than neck injury and that he is well enough to fly home at least allays many people's worst fears.  Hopefully the fact that he received such good care immediately will help with a full and speedy recovery.

Very pleased for Thomas. Just needs to rest up until recovery is complete. Delayed concussions are not nice. I sustained one after being KOd in a road accident in my teens - 5 inch dent in the side of my crash helment. The delayed concussed kicked in about 3 weeks later.

Glad he is up and about. As much as we will miss him, I hope not to see him play for a couple of months.
