Alfie was devastating as a 12 in age group rugby. A close neighbour of mine (who is also Chairman of High Wycombe RUFC) relates the story of the day he took their U16s to play at Banbury. Alfie was only 14 and playing in the centre for them. He single handedly won the game scoring about 6 tries in the process.

I’m sure he could do a good job there but I don’t think he would be a better 12 then a 8 or 6.

I really hope Jack comes back soon as I can’t wait to see shields Jack and Alfie in the back row. For me that will be the best in the league
