Wish him well.
Certainly better to be upfront about cash than other cases mentioned above....

Think this is mainly for fitness and trying to get into some sort of shop window.

Essentially he’s going to enjoy being the biggest player in the league on 500k a season.
Sure it’ll be good for the confidence.

Saw last week that Tommy Matthews was back playing at Hartbury. Wonder if we’re still keeping tabs on him.

I don't think I would want him back at Wasps, but wish him all the best in getting his career back in track. He's 30 so has some way to go before calling it a day. Hopefully he'll get a decent pay day in France or Japan, they'd love him in both places I think

I really liked Nathan, thought he replaced Billy really well. Shame things not working out for him

Got a sideways tackle to his knee against Argentina.
Never the same player after that.
Met him a couple of times always nice as pie.
Hope he can get himself sorted.

Absolutely no idea what he’s like as a person. Playing wise it was a good move for Wasps to shed him to Bristol (or the other way round). His actual appearances for Wasps had become few and far between and he’d become less effective. I thought at the time it was an odd move for Bristol. If he stops trying to be Vunipola and rediscovers his step he can be a top Prem operator for someone. But it won’t be Wasps.

Think Bath is a loan proposal, probably even more pressing given they lost 2 back rowers again yesterday.

Irish next season would make sense to replace Tuise.

Confirmed short term loan to Bath

Wonder what has happened at Bristol.  You'd have thought with the Islander connection to Lam and a number of the other players it would be the ideal place for him.

Is it off-pitch things he's been dealing with, injury or he's just a victim of the salary cap reductions? A real shame for him.  Don't forget, he's an EQP - so a handy asset for any Prem Team in that sense.

Wasn’t that connection supposed to be on of the reasons he left to go there?

I think Lam signed/ gave  first full contract to Hughes at Auckland , before he came to us.

Think it’s a combination of VFM and salary cap
