Tigers' board not impressed.

I’d have him.  He might not be everyone’s cup of tea but he likes scoring tries and he’s bloody good at doing so.

Not sure if it's Ashton himself that's the problem for Tigers fans or that he spent time at Saints and Saracens.

How many more before he has played for the entire Premiership?

Please  -  not the ENTIRE  Premiership!  Leave us out.

Hope he doesn’t score four more tries.

Would love to keep Wade at the top

It’s Varndell who currently tops the table with 92 tries. Cueto is 2nd with 90 tries, followed by Ashton on 89 and Wade on 82.

But agree with the sentiment - would be nice to have a former Wasp remain top of the table.

Apologies, Varndell was who I meant, was just thinking about how many Wade could have had by now whilst writing.

He's now level with Goody having played for six Premiership clubs although Goody had two stints at Tigers. Both also spent time with a French club (Ashton at Toulon and Goode at Brive)

Believe it or not both are outdone by Andy Gomarsall who played for 7 clubs albeit only two appearances for Bath
