When Skivs left us I was a bit surprised, as he wasn't getting International recognition so being at Wasps - surely that was as good as it gets!

He has gone about his playing and coaching career in a very sensible way. Good for him. I particularly like seeing Dominic Waldouck as defence coach - a mini Fraser Waters for us until injury felled him.

Very impressed with how he's stuck to his guns & turned them around. But like Borthwick at Tigers. They both had a plan, were confident it would work & stuck to it, even when it didnt instantly make an impact. Skivs for me though is more impressive given its his lack of coaching experience.

And he's just plain more likeable than Borthwick...... ;D

Skivs also hasn't spent years working with Eddie. Not only is that a plus in itself, it may help explain why he is more likeable.
