He packs down against Joe Marler and Harlequins this afternoon.

Bobby Bridge reports.

Interesting article. Hope he’s on our retained list.

Alo will be an interesting one when it comes to his next contract, presumably one of the lower paid TH in the Premiership when last contract was signed but now potentially will need to be paid as one at the higher end.

Rapidly realising his potential, and one that can become iconic for the black and gold. Also gives us good value for money from Hummel as that frame takes a lot of fabric to cover! Need to keep Biyi as we move forward.

Go for it Big B. Make Joe Marler regret his decision to leave the England camp and play for Quins this afternoon. I wonder if he had a session or two scrumming in Dai's kitchen?

Every article seems to highlight something else that is impressive about his story. He seems to find opportunity to change and improve everywhere.

It will certainly be interesting to see which tight heads we keep next season.

Koch and Ryan have signed.
Who is then going to be retained to mix it with them?

It's gotta be between JTA and Alo.
Without knowing the length of anyone's contact it's hard to know what the plan is.

But would either of them be happy as 4th choice next season?

I suspect JTA will be leaving us.

I would be very happy with Vincent Koch, John Ryan, Elliot Millar-Mills and Biyi Alo as a TH team. Very impressive.

Great story about Biyi - he would win my 'most improved player' nomination.

I wasn't suggesting he would be.

But I'm also assuming the theory is that Koch will be No1.

I'm not that familiar with Ryan, but others have suggested that he's a quality player and it seemed the assumption was that he'd be No.2

Therefore, if both Alo and JTA are here next season, one of them will be 4th choice.

Would either of them be happy with that?

For a start, I wouldn't assume that Ryan will automatically be #2.
