Interesting that Japan job was part of deal with wasps . And that Lee’s thinking of possible recruitment opportunities as what I’d speculated in previous thread.

 Sort of makes sense of way Wasps seemed quite nonchalant about announcement when it broke.

There’s also commercial possibilities.  If we do recruit from Japan the Wasps brand could become a thing over there, or even if Mitch does well he could pique interest in the club.

That working in Japan was part of the Wasps deal suggests it was something he wanted to do whilst working for England and wasn't allowed.
