After the attempt to bench Wade last week, he is missing completely from the team sheet. With a long Summer break and only a few games in, one cannot think he is being 'rested'. Watson in against his old side. He has really struggled to keep fit in his time with Wasps, and dropped out of the team at the last minute last week. Must be a worry. If this keeps up through this season for him, I can't see him being offered a new contract.

Hughes clearly being rested, also Robson and Daly. A strong side, with some, like Simmo, being offered the chance to shine.

For these first four games, Dai must have been targeting to get 20-22 points. On 15 points now, the best we can do is to get 20 in total. After five games any team is targeting 22-25 points to make it to the top 4 by the year end. Which shows just how good Chiefs and Sarries are this year. We could see at least 2 teams with more than 90 points by the year end, one might even get 100.

Win this game and we could be one of those with 90+ points by the year end.

I am rooting for Rob, Joe and Marcus in particular. As much for them as players as for Wasps. Would love to see them perform as we know they can, Marcus against his old club as well.

Wade must have been close to highest Prem minutes last season, he mention the pressure of that in an interview. Susect Dai is trying to manage that, it's not just physical.

The Wade situation is an interesting one. He's clearly not at his best right now, but it still feels an odd decision to "rest" him.

I'd love to know Dai's actual reasoning.

Maybe Christian is not feeling 100% and asked Dai for the game off? The previous week he was rested until Marcus got sick. That doesn't mean that Dai meant to give him two games off. Lets see what happens at The Ricoh next weekend.
