1st half summary. Watson showing what a full back he isn't. Gopperth having a stinker, Robson not much better (off target with so many kicks). Line speed and slow ball killing Umaga.

Defence is a shambles.

Not at all impressed.

Northampton, OTOH, deserve to be way ahead by now.

Umaga damn lucky nobody spotted him dropping that ball, being so casual.

I don't understand how a player can drop the ball like that when scoring a try. You place the ball like that 1000s of times in training over the years, how can you not do it right?

We haven’t seen it from behind but I thought Josh had every right to go for that ball. It didn’t look under control and there was a try scoring opportunity.  Barnes should have asked for a replay before laying the law down in the way he did, Josh was a lot closer and could see what was happening.

Good question but I remember Wadey getting it wrong at least once. Just a tad too over confident.

Don't often comment on these threads, but Jacob's casual drop has me fuming. Wade once did something similar in a Barbarians match, but Jacob is no Wade, he is a young man looking to cement a career at club level.  Dive on it man. Hold it in two hands. Look like you care and are not warming up. Unless you happen to be the premiership's best ever winger!

Very sloppy all over. Umaga extremely lucky on his try. No excuse for that. Nobody near him, just far to casual. Dobby off the boil again that half. Only 2 points in it though. Can’t be as bad 2nd half surely

I quite agree. Josh was going for the ball and not the man. Barnes is getting poorer game by game.

Where was the defence? They’re starting to look tired already and that after a week off.

This is very poor. Wasps are just not a good team. They've got players back. No more excuses.

We look like a poorly coached team, played for the first 10 minutes, then that’s it, we have just stopped doing the basics

Apart from the try Jacob has been poor but let’s be honest he’s not on his own Robson Gopperth Watson take your pick. Piss poor all round really. This actually shows really where we are moment a 7th to 9th team

No one chased the sliced attempt at a clearing kick from Umaga a few minutes ago.
