With everything that was going on, on Saturday, this seems to have slipped below the radar.

There was a little bit of discussion on this but Eddie seems to have taken up most of our time.

To me Dickens’ management of this tournament needs to be seriously looked at along with Eddie’s.
Finished third but with three losses including against Italy. Absolutely clueless against Ireland and whilst a little more organised against France we never looked like winning.

Selection a huge issue here as far too many players were used throughout the tournament, I did get bored and counted them 47 players selected across 5 games. combinations couldn’t develop and some of the time players didn’t look like they had even trained together.
There needs to be a review of this tournament too as we were just not very good.

For us Waspies, Bell, Cripps, Fisilau and Dawkins involved from the start, Hardwick, Ma’asi White and and McArthur added to the mix.
Bell was the pick of them all and had the most gametime but all have another year at this level I believe so could be a lot more to come from them.
With Glister called up for the U18s this week, the assembly line still looks promising across many positions.

I watched the U20s matches . England were particularly clueless against Italy whose defence was superb. Italy took their penalties and won. We continued to kick to the corner and got turned over . Even in the last few minutes England refused to take the points. Arrogant and witless. As for the lineout v the French, the French  could kick it out knowing that they would get the ball until finally our replacements came on. So sad after some really good wins in the past and runs in the World Cup.

They looked poorly coached, and the fact that more than 50 players were selected over the 5 games suggests the 6N was being used as an audition for the U20 world cup. A poor strategy IMO.

But all of this does point to the fact that there might actually be a coherent master plan that runs from England's age group sides right through to the senior team.  That's a good thing surely? ;)  (Unless of course that master plan is fundamentally flawed in the first place!)

And when the head coach changes, so does the 'master-plan'.
