Can’t recall it being mentioned before but it looks like you can stream challenge cup matches ((think it said 4.99 - not sure if euros or coins of the realm)  https://epcrugby.tv/

Wasn’t aware of it for group games ,maybe just brought in for ko stages?

Our half of the draw means we miss Sarries, Toulon, Gloucester, Castres, Saints and Irish, I think we have a decent chance of getting to the final

If I've read it correctly, if we win in Biarritz we are away to Edinburgh or Bath, then home to Sarries, Saints, Glaws or Cardiff to get to the final, where being optimistic we would be likely to meet either Lyon, Toulon, Castres, or Glasgow.

Just looked at the ERC site, and can't see how you actually sign-up.

...

You're right.

Away to Edinburgh or Bath in the quarters, then away to Lyon, Warriors, Falcons or Glasgow in the semi.  Like everyone said in the first place.

I'll get my coat.  :-[

Interesting to see that PRL and EPCR are both now streaming games for a (relatively) small fee.

The highest ranked side is at home, so:

QF: Edinburgh away or Bath at home
SF: Lyon, Newcastle or Worcester away, or Glasgow at home

Aren't semis played at neutral stadium in "home" team's country?

No, that was only for the Champions Cup, but has been scrapped as the attendances were poor.

Slow
Services on board are sparse- mostly no cabins, for example.
But cheap, and they arrive in Dieppe early enough to be through Paris by rush hour. Except this time when it took 2 hours to get through passport control. Sitting in the car in Dieppe as I write this.

I use the UK - F ferries around 6 times a year as we have a house out there. Primarily use Brittany Ferries - Portsmouth to Caen, but do use DFDS from Newhaven to Dieppe as well. Since the lifting of Covid restrictions, the ferry bookings have gone through the roof. Many people are keen to visit their places out there after 2 years of no entry. Easter bookings have been soldout for months.

Throw in the P&O saga, staff shortages due to Covid, boats not back in service after being in dry dock and you have a recipe for disaster. BF have daily cancellations and delays. It might return to some sense of normality during the week after Easter. Flights similarly are fully booked due to covid affecting staff and airport delays.

I do not envy Pudsey one iota (or indeed the team travelling out there). The best solution for them is to charter a plane from Coventry to Biarritz. It will be very interesting to see the week unfold wrt this one.

Lester - when did you book this trip?
