When Francois Hougaard has played on the wing I think he has played really well, in my opinion better then Paolo

I agree.
I think Paolo is better at 13.

I’m still not 100% sold on Fekitoa over others. He jumps out from the line at times, is borderline with his tackle legitimacy and I think he puts his head down in attack too often.
I just feel he wants to leave some sort of legacy in huge plays - when I’d prefer him to just be solid, play for the team and play heads-up rugby.

I prefer Sam Spink…or Paolo and his pumping legs.
I don’t think we flow through the backs as well when Fekitoa plays.

Just my opinion. And happy to be proved wrong.

Any team that can put Paulo on the bench has to be pretty strong, but looking at it it feels a bit odd.

We were only 1.5 tries down Bournender. As you said, you were a little under the weather. 👺

Well, as you say it wouldn’t have surprised me being under the weather, but not that bad, so I had to check forgive me. This is the report on the game I found

And it brought back a few memories of the game ;D

I'm quite cautious about this one. Irish are very good this season and play attractive rugby. And some of their forwards are superb.

My biggest gripe is what the hell is going on with Crossdale? Deserves its own thread at this point. It's beyond perplexing why he's not even in rotation. Not the best 15 we have right now, but that's because we don't have a best 15. I honestly think he looks the most promising, with Jacob being a close second as a creative alternative.

No Mills on the bench either, and not listed as unavailable. How weird is it having so many to select from?

No chance we signed Crossdale on a one year contract, just needs to bide his time.

Mills not playing as much as I thought on return and Jimmy still getting the games for his consistency and kicking could mean Mills is being phased out

Great to see Irish on the rise, been some great games over the years and some unusual ones. I was remembering that ~40 point draw when the teams were announced.
