He’s just got a 3rd conversion.

This is embarrassing, England look like the scratch team.

It's a hard one to understand. England played really well when Bomber's team was given the hurry up. We were really good with a team that only differed from last 6Ns's one by not having pace at winger for injured May and Watson and no in form Billy. We scored 3 tries vs the teams other than Italy (France and Ire double figures) and picked non dynamic teams. This was pointed out before the games too.

As for conditioning etc, pass. It's rumoured England over train, but if you pick the back three we did vs France then you cannot be planning to win......

BaaBaas taking the piss now.....

The playing squad is there to win…It is the head coach that is the problem (although we did not need this result to know that). Fast Eddie will either play it down or blame the team, which will be incorrect. Please Eddie do the decent thing and resign, or the board grow a pair and remove him.

Australia will be painful.

a great win from a 14 man scratch team, just shows what a bloody awful coach the head knob is.

Definitely a few players have blown what little chance they had to make the Aussie tour and World Cup.

Also it proof’s that Eddie over trains the players and poorly coaches them.

England interviews not enlightening...."new combinations" etc. - yet nothing that it was a load of first choice England team players vs 14 men who apparently spent the week "socialising"......

Unbelievably poor which is saying something given Eddie’s recent record. A record defeat, at home to a scratch side who played with 14 for three quarters of the match. We couldn’t catch the ball, couldn’t retain possession and couldn’t tackle. I’ve never been so embarrassed watching England.

Once again the Barbarians show that training, unless it is quantities of good food and drink and late nights, is entirely superfluous.

The stark difference was the freedom and confidence the Barbarians played with compared to the petrified England team all thinking about what Jones wants to see rather than playing the game. I know it’s essentially a meaningless knockabout bit of fun but even allowing for that it points to the fact that along with consistently getting selection wrong (Randall? Ewels? Underhill?) the prep is all wrong as well.

Nail on head.
Jones doesn’t empower players to express themselves and play with more instinct.
It’s too regimented.

Watch England cricket team being given license to play their shots, with no retribution.
Same players that lost almost 17 straight Tests. Just a different mindset and putting faith back into already talented people.

The guys in the England team know how to play rugby.
Defence is a mindset thing that Shaun Edwards has perfected (even with a scratch side).
Attack is all about imagination and confidence.

I can tell you that if some of those England players were playing for the Barbarians, they too, would have had good games, because the mindset was completely different from the England one.

It doesn’t look much fun playing for England right now.

Agreed. And also throw in that some know they are absolutely certain to be dropped no matter how they play and you end up with what happened.

The equation is simple now, Eddie Jones is the problem, thus the solution is simple, remove him, and do it now.
