A shame Ford was forced off early, and that Earl is allowed to get away with his continual screaming and OTT  celebrations

Yes but the look on his face when he realises the kick was good and Saracens had lost is brilliant. 13 seconds in: https://twitter.com/btsportrugby/status/1538216189117321216?t=_kw7x3PLr3Ch35N52_EGRg&s=19

Regarding the cards, I really don't like the passive head contact ones. It is starting to look like attacking players are trying to run head first into stationary defenders shoulders in order to 'win' a penalty.

Pass / Kick / Run stats from yesterday's 3 finals.

Not as damning as I thought it might be, but pleased to see (even though in the minority in these stats) the Crusaders perfect game plan and brilliance go against Eddie’s idea that to win you need to kick the most and have the least amount of possession.

Award for the most pointless citing goes to…

Should have been some after the semis but they bottled it. Lots of yellows that should have been reds in both hemispheres in recent weeks and then Skelton gets one for the Barbarians, which I definitely thought was only going to be yellow in a game like that.

I don’t think it is a pointless citing - surely this will cause the ref to reflect on his decision making during the game which must be a good thing?

It's Barnes you're talking about. I doubt if there is any reflection from him.

In theory yes, it should make Barnes realise he bottled it. In reality he’ll just think the citing officer must’ve wrong.

That is the problem when the media get hold of you and big you up.
