Yes, I saw that. I wonder if this is him working towards a transition towards a full time forwards coach?

Would you want him ending up as a Wasps coach? And then, after a few years, maybe moving back to SA as a coach there?

Ampthill is a heck of a way from Henley in Arden though.

I see Mourtiz Botha is a coach there too.

I wouldn't be surprised if Koch is commuting to training in H-in-A from somewhere in Herts. Don't most of the squad live in Leamington anyway?

I wonder if the ‘rules’ have been relaxed about insisting players live within a certain distance of Ground/ training ground? I got the impression a couple of others ( from their conversations/ stories) were living some distance away. Might depend on length of contract, certainly terms within.

As to whether we would want Koch as a scrum coach , let’s wait to see how he goes for us first.
