Very probably. Most squads seem settled and have been settled against the backdrop of the reduced cap. No-one would have had massive leeway to make a big offer. And let’s be honest that would be a big offer which carried a large degree of risk.

There's no negotiating going on.

The decision, whatever it is, was made ages ago.

This is him trying to built a bit of excitement. The problem is that pretty much all Wasps fans have become very used to disappointment and whenever we've had something bigged up its been a big let down. So very few of us are willing to invest emotionally in a possibility.

Just like everyone in Rugby their marketing and PR is missing the mark somewhat.

You seem a bit down on rugby at the mo VV. Must admit I’ve drifted that way for the internationals. But Wade or no Wade I’m really looking forward to the new domestic season.  And I think the Prem is about as competitive as it’s been for years. A couple of savvy signings in the backs (when??) could make a huge difference for us.
