Slow week for Bobby I guess.

Realistically none of these guys are up to it.
Woodward has been broken for ages and wouldn’t offer anymore than Miller, in fact less as he wouldn’t offer 10 cover. Socino has been off the pace for a while as has Naiayavoro who’s been broken, lazy and very poor defensively for a long time - overtaken by a whole heap of young guns at Saints and he’s been no where near close to a look in.

Nothing to see here

I'd take a punt Naiayavoro. Yes he has negatives but he is one of the few players with a genuine USP and has single handedly won games for Saints...he caused us nothing but issue's when he won it for them at the Ricoh.
Defensively no weaker than Dogwoo but needs good constant conditioning.
I don't think we have the luxury to overlook USP players that change games given our crop of backs for next year.

Agreed, it would be perverse to let Rob Miller go and then bring in Woodward, who is another player who’s career went down the toilet after a fruitless call up be Eddie.

I bet the dog can turn quicker than Naiayavoro though :)

The majority of backs could, but that doesn't encapsulate 'defence'

I’d happily offer Naiayavoro a contract. I don’t think any of the others are really viable. Naiayavoro is a game changer and we have nothing like him in the squad as it stands.

Surprised not to see Brown on that list. I'm mentioning him to again provoke outrage on this board.

Perhaps you should contact Adam Dickinson who did the research for the article.

Maybe he has signed and an announcement has not been made?

I don’t necessarily mean for us.

I think he’s talking about retirement. Which would be a bit of a waste.

Agreed.

Have to add agreement to you both. Woodward was quality but it's been a long time since we've seen that. On song, he's a better choice than Miller. But given we have let Miller and Watson go, can't see that we would move for Woodward.
