Had PRP in my knee, not a pleasant experience, but it definitely helped.

Looks like he's on a visit to the Fortius Clinic.

Get well soon, Jacob.

Ouch. Thanks for the link.

Week 3 is up - focus on Odendaal

Interesting seeing Van Vuuren pack down at LH on one of those scrums - although it could have of course just been to make up the numbers quickly.

It’s a big plus securing Odendaal’s early release. I think between him and Hartley we are looking better stocked at 12 than we have done for a while. If Mills can stay fit even better.

Pre season week 4.

Love it 🐝 Working so hard in pre-season is great to see, the focus on ‘getting ready’.  Also reminds me what an amazing Training Centre we’ve got.

Biyi looks in good shape. It looks like we’re going to have something not often seen in a Wasps side since I started supporting, a solid and possible lay dominant scrum.

Not wrong about Biyi blokes a beast. This will be the first season for a long time that I won’t be worried when our starting props get replaced. Still a bit worried about the backs, that said I think we are in a better position than this time last year but only time will tell.

Good watch.

If Derek sorts out the re-financing it looks like we will sign one or possibly two backs (one of which I suspect and hope will be Wadey).

If not it will give the likes of Mills, Hartley, Minozzi, Spink, Kibirige, Mehson and/or Crossdale their opportunity to cement a place in the starting XV. That’s an exciting prospect.

Has anyone spied Martinez in any of these videos or is it still too soon for him?

You mean Rodrigo? He featured in a youngster camp picture spread recently and is supposed to be fit.
Let me tell you something cucumber

Martinez was in one of the first videos on a machine in the gym, no strapping and didn’t look too inhibited.
His running and scrummaging may have some time to go however.

Biyi is indeed looking in beast mode. With him, Koch and Ryan there is some proper scary depth on that right side of the scrum.

Still think we're light in the engine room, especilly with Elliot being out for a while yet.

We shall see.

Can’t wait to these boys in action.

But I’m equally excited to watch Rodrigo Martinez, the Argentine loose head, who sustained that injury soon after joining us.

We’ve got an amazing pack. Hopefully we’ll get a few more scrum penalties 💥
