“Travel collection”. That’s a new one!

It's the stuff the coaches are wearing.

I like the Burgundy colour (or grape wine as they call it), with the expected need to dress a lot more warmly in winter I might treat myself to the hoodie.

Any idea as to when the actual 2022-23 kits will be unveiled?

Most of the Premiership clubs have unveiled at least one shirt for the coming season, with Wasps being among a few stragglers in that regard.

Are Wasps due a new kit? Haven't they usually lasted 2 years?

To date it has been new each year but what do we know?  However both the coaches and the players have new training kit (Burgundy for the coaches and black and blue for the players) so it suggests something is coming.

I really like the Maroon too, but I can't justify paying £30 for a T-Shirt.

Kind of my thoughts too.

It was confirmed during a Q&A on Instagram last week we’ll see the new playing kit later this month

Thanks very much for the update.

I do wish the Club would improve its communication with supporters - "later this month" isn't all that specific, seeing as the players will (presumably) be wearing the new kit when they play Doncaster on the 26th  :P

Previous seasons some pre-season matches had the team in old gear so late August kind of par for the course.

Thanks for the clarification, Neils - I must admit, I hadn't realised that, and I would've said late July/early August if pushed.

I don't know if there is a similar issue for rugby, but in the Premier League and EFL over 50% of the clubs are having kit supply issues.  Some have been told that they won't have replicas until Christmas, others played all their pre-seasons in borrowed kit.  If the same issues are across the board then it may explain the drip drip of new kit that is available rather than a full launch.

I don't know either, but a reasonable number of Premiership sides already have their new kits available for purchase:

Gloucester (home only)
Bristol (away only)
Chiefs (home/away/cup)
Quins (home only)
Tigers (home/away)
Saints (home only)

If there *is* a supply problem in rugby, it's not affecting every club equally.
