Billy Kucera was in our U18 Academy team last year. I guess he is still an academy player.

I believe Jack has a compulsory rest period after playing summer rugby for England, so is not allowed to play for a number of weeks.

I didn't see Kieran Curran or Will Simmons mentioned at all.

Will Simonds is still playing in Australia. Not sure on Curran, hopefully not another niggle.

Interesting combinations here, intriguing Porter and Atkinson get the start with what seems likely our starting centre combination.
I am however interested to see how Hartley and Odogwu get on.

Interesting to see Hislop given first half captaincy, either that is as a returnee to his previous club nod or hopefully to acknowledge his performance in training and around the group especially with the potential early season LH issues (no Tom West in these squads, Millar-Mills doing LH)

Might be that VV is also covering LH too (as mentioned on another thread he was packing down there in a recent video) if MM also needs to be (3rd choice - travelling reserve equivalent) cover TH
Thought we’d just whack Nearchou or McArthur or Hardwick in there too to avoid any risk in this department.

Interesting to see Tunney getting the nod at 7 ahead of the England U20 boys in Cripps and Fisilau but they could be on a rest period too.

No Theo either, looking light at lock for a while that’s for sure, Dodson might be useful addition and think Fyn Brown is a long term prospect at 6 rather than in the row (think he’s 6ft4)
