Good news in general. I wouldn’t risk Atkinson or West against Dragons as we currently have no depth in their positions.

But who plays 10? This is our last chance to gel new combos before the season starts so bit of a risk either way. Either take time from Charlie and Burger to gel, or risk Mills as our next 10 being undercooked in the position should Charlie get injured.

I'm already a bit worried about how under prepped we might be. I'm not sure how some of the players can have enough minutes in their legs. Then again, the guys making these calls are professionals so know more than I ever will!

It reads we are only short of numbers in the fly half position but doesn't say whats wrong with Haydon-Wood  or how long either he or Umaga how expected to be out for.

Pretty sure I read previously mid October Jacob should be back, WHW I have not heard anything about.

Jacob posted on Instagram today that his brace was now gone and he had the finish line in sight

Extracted from BB's injury update 23.8.22

New signing Will Haydon-Wood picked up a knock but should be back in training next week, with a view to being available for the season opener against Gloucester.
